ROJANI GROUP was established in 1991 by Bawer Aksal, who arrived in the United States from London to continue his university education at City University of New York (CUNY).  After graduating from CUNY with a degree in International Business, B.S. in 1995, Mr. Aksal worked in hospitality industries for two decades.  As a part of his job, Mr. Aksal started selling T-shirts on the streets of New York, on street corners and street fairs.  Even though Rojani Group was not officially registered at the time, the name caught people's eyes.  In 2001, Mr. Aksal set up a company called Bajar & Ciya Corp. Hospitality Group, and Rojani American Monarch was born.

Rojani American Monarch's passion is not in becoming a multi-billion dollar company, but instead to revolutionize apparel and home goods sectors throughout the world.  Through our innovative and ethical practices, we at the Rojani Group see it as our mission to end illiteracy via the education of every boy and girl in the world, erase poverty off of the face of the earth forever.

A garment worker in China earns an average of $550 per year; in India garment workers earn $400 a year, in Bangladesh, a garment worker earns $600 a year.  An experienced Rojani American Monarch garment worker can earn $15,000+ per year, and receive benefits such as comprehensive health care, stock options, paid leave vacation for 2 weeks.  Rojani American Monarch garments are created by motivated and fairly paid and treated employees who don't just have jobs -- they have careers.

RAM,  will give employment priorities to abused, battered single mothers, we will train them and give jobs to make sure that they are capable of taking care of their families.

While us congress and U.S politicians are discussing equal pay for women, our CEO and executives branch have already passed policy that every women will get equal pay as men for the same job.

We have a passion for educated employees and encourage every employee to continue their education.  We have private grants for employees who want to earn an advanced education degree.  We recognize that to be successful in manufacturing our products requires risk-taking and long-term investment both in terms of products and our employees.  The industry's reliance on low wages and shortcuts to success are unacceptable within our business model.

We are also committed to adhering to the strictest and most progressive EPA standards in the country, thus minimizing our carbon footprint and impact on the environment.  We will continue to strive for and seek the most environmentally friendly options in all aspects of our business.

Rojani American Monarch is truly a global lifestyle brand with a full range of denim, apparel and accessories offered all over the world.  While the aim of other such companies (Versace, Armani, Ralf Lauren, Gucci) and their CEOs is to expand profits and cushioning their own lifestyles (luxury items, homes, jets, etc), and while the CEOs of other apparel companies earn million dollar salaries each year, the CEO of ROJANI AMERICAN MONARCH makes only $1 yearly salary; our executives refuse to follow this model and are committed to helping the ROJANI GLOBAL FOUNDATION tackle the problems of poverty, illiteracy and hunger throughout the world.
